Age and use
The baby nest can be used from newborn to approximately 8 months. It can be adjusted to suit your child's size and development, creating a safe and enveloping base in the first months.
Reversible design
Our baby nest is reversible, so you can easily switch between the patterned and solid-colored look – ideal for adapting the style to your mood, decor or season.
Safety first
Always place the baby nest on a flat, stable surface and use it only under supervision. Make sure the baby lies with their head opposite the closure for optimal safety and comfort.
Materials and maintenance
Made from soft, organic cotton and filled with hypoallergenic material. The cover is machine washable at 40 degrees - remember to remove the mattress before washing. Air dry to maintain shape and quality.
How to use your baby nest
The Baby Nest creates a safe and supportive space for your baby – like an extra set of arms that hugs and soothes. Perfect for:

Use the baby nest for wake-up time and socializing
Place your baby awake and on his back in the center of the nest, with his body stretched out and his chin free. Use the baby nest to actively engage with your child – play, talk and be present.
Important about safety
Stop using the baby nest as soon as your baby starts to show signs of being able to roll over. The baby nest is only intended for supervised waking hours and should never be used as a sleeping place.
Safe sleeping spaces include cribs, bassinets, and bedside cribs. When you add a baby nest to these, the safety changes – and it is no longer considered a safe sleeping environment.
Little accidents are inevitable with a newborn baby, so of course your baby nest needs to be washed from time to time. Don’t worry – we’ve made it as easy as possible for you. If you follow these simple washing instructions, your baby nest will be as good as new:
- Remove the mattress through the hidden zipper at the foot end. Also remove the cover that covers the adjustable cords (the one with our logo on it). Both the mattress and the soft cover are hand-washable only when needed – otherwise, you can simply spot clean them with a damp cloth.
- Make sure the strings on the sides are tied together so they don't disappear during washing.
- Place the entire baby nest (without mattress and soft cover) in the washing machine and wash on a gentle cycle. We recommend a maximum of 40 degrees to take best care of both the product and the environment.
- Once the wash is complete, you can either tumble dry on low heat or let the baby nest dry flat. When it is completely dry, put the mattress back in and adjust the sides. Finish by putting the cover back on and giving your baby nest a little “massage” so it regains its shape.

Are your baby nests made from organic materials?
Yes, our baby nests are made from certified cotton, which is soft, breathable and free of harmful chemicals – perfect for your baby's delicate skin.
Can I wash the baby nest?
Yes, the cover can be removed and washed according to the instructions on the product. We recommend gentle washing to preserve the quality of the material.

Denmark: 49,- DKK to parcel shop, 69,- DKK to private address.
Europe & Rest of the World: Shipping cost is calculated at checkout depending on destination.

Returns
Can I return an item if I regret my purchase?
Yes, you have 14 days to return your order from the day you receive it.
How do I return an item?
You return the item to our address (not a parcel shop).
Please include a note with your order number.
Return costs are paid by the buyer.
Does the item have to be in original condition when returned?
Yes, the item must be returned unused, in its original packaging and with tags intact. If the item has been used, we can only refund part or none of the amount.

What do I do if my item has a defect?
If you experience an error or defect, you have a 2-year right of complaint . Contact us at info@borncopenhagen.dk with your order number and pictures of the error.
Do you cover shipping costs for complaints?
Yes, if your complaint is justified, we will cover return costs to a reasonable extent.
